Each class is designed to teach techniques in a positive way to allow the learning process to be fun, yet fulfilling through constructive teaching methods. Not sure, which class is the right one? NEW Competition Private Lessons
The Dance Haven is pleased to offer new private lessons for competitive students enrolled in competition classes. This new program will give students additional performance experience as well as individualized training. Students who thrive on stage and have a passion for performing at competitions are encouraged to enroll.
Students who wish to perform a solo, duet or trio in one or two local competitions in addition to their current routines can register for private classes. Student routines will only be performed at local competitions but not in our annual performance. Students will need to choose a style of dance and the instructors will provide choreography and music. Opportunities may arise for students to perform routines at special events or showcases.
Students must be 8 to 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a competition or RDT program. Private lessons can be scheduled at a first come, first serve basis. Students will be required to schedule a1/2 hour private lesson each week. Tuition Fees and Competition Fees will apply. Students can not compete against themselves in the same subject for any solo, duet or trio. Private Lessons will be offered on Saturdays and if possible during the week, schedule permitting and based on availability.
Competition Private Lesson Tuition Costs:
1/2 hour private lesson once a week from October to April $525.00 per student per category. Fees must be paid in full or in two installments upon registration. Fees are separate from Regular Season Tuition Costs and are non refundable.
Competition Fees: TBA Please note that typically fees for a solo, duet or trio is $90 and are non-refundable.
Costume Fees: Students can elect to buy an approved costume by the instructor on their own, choose from a costume closet (costumes we have on hand), or purchase a new costume through the dance haven.
